Rub a dime- to quarter-size amount of Soften Me between palms and distribute throughout the hair. For a soft hold, use prior to applying gel. Soften me is perfect for stretched styles, as it does not cause shrinkage. Use prior to protective styling to soften and protect the hair.
Soften Me can also be used as the “C” in the LOC Method.
The LOC Method involves layering hair products in a particular sequence (Liquid-Oil-Cream) to establish a protective moisture seal that keeps your natural curls hydrated and bouncy.
Soften Me is manufactured with natural butters which melt at 80-90° F.
As a result, this product may melt during warmer months while in transit. Jaycee Naturals® prioritizes customer satisfaction and ships this product in temperature-controlled packaging from June – September, but melting may still occur depending on the duration of the shipment, and whether the package is moved to a cooler environment shortly after its arrival to you. If you live in an extreme climate and cannot retrieve the product from your mailbox right away, we recommend you provide a PO Box for your shipment.
Please keep out of direct sunlight and keep in a cool, dry place to help prevent melting. However, if Soften Me does melt, the properties and benefits of it will not change. You can refrigerate Soften Me, but it may not have the same creamy texture unless it is cooled and then mixed at a low speed with an electric mixer. Please do not overmix, as mixing too long or at too high a speed will change the texture to a light, fluffy whipped butter, rather than Jaycee Naturals’ signature rich, creamy texture.
